Scholastic Childrens Book Very Hungry Bear

The Very Hungry Bear is a story about a Bear that children have already fallen in love with through the author Nick Bland’s previous creations – The Very Cranky Bear and the Very Itchy Bear. In this book, Bear is hungry, and he is looking for food. He tries to fish, but instead of food, he ends up catching a Polar Bear. The story gets interesting as the Polar Bear promises to give Bear a pile of fish and all he wants in return is a new home. The illustrations are done by Nick Bland as well. They are very compelling, which makes the book a favourite for small children. While the story is fun to read, it also passes on a message to young learners about the deteriorating environment, which needs our immediate help. This is a hardcover book, and it has 24 pages. Scholastic Canada publishes it. The book is approximately 25cm high and 24cm wide. It is recommended for children between the age of 3 and 7.
